Why we carry it

The Z8 is the no-drama terminal. It's a small Linux counter unit with two ways to connect, Ethernet and WiFi. It takes EMV and tap, and it supports the fee programs. It has been earning its keep on counters for years.

It's the right call when the job is just taking cards the right way at a counter. Your program is applied. And it costs as little as possible to roll out.

Highlights

  • Dead-simple staff operation
  • Dual-comm failover keeps it online
  • The cheapest way to a program that follows the rules

Z8, answered

Is Linux a downside versus Android?

For a fixed-function counter terminal, no. Fewer moving parts, long track record, lower cost. Android matters when you want apps. The Z8 is for when you don't.

Can it be my only terminal?

For a simple counter shop, yes. It takes every modern card, and it runs your program right.

Free with the account. Programmed before it ships.
